Everton fans being lied to about Tyler Dibling as Abdul Fatawu deal on cards
Everton surely won’t keep Tyler Dibling around if they sign Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu in the upcoming transfer window.
The Toffees bought the 20-year-old Englishman for big money last summer, but he’s struggled for game time under David Moyes and could potentially leave on loan for the sake of his development.
While insiders at Hill Dickinson Stadium are confident that Dibling will turn things around after a slow start, the Blues’ actions say something else.
Fatawu has emerged as a target for Moyes, and if the Merseyside outfit end up getting a deal over the line for the 22-year-old Ghana international, that would certainly leave the ex-Southampton youngster looking over his shoulder.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium faithful are being lied to about Dibling and only time will tell whether the Scottish manager truly believes in the forward’s talent or he’ll end up being a waste of money.

Abdul Fatawu deal could be closer than ever at Everton
Leicester have suffered back-to-back relegations and will be playing in League One next season.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see a mass clearout of some of the big names from King Power Stadium in the summer, with Fatawu being one.
| Statistics | Abdul Fatawu |
| Appearances | 44 |
| Goals | 9 |
| Assists | 7 |
| Big chances created | 8 |
| Successful dribbles per game | 2.6 (44%) |
| Total duels won per game | 6.2 (44%) |
The Toffees have an opportunity to seal the deal for the Ghanaian forward, who will undoubtedly be looking to play in the Premier League after a decent individual campaign, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in the Championship.
Fatawu primarily plays on the right-wing and could provide competition to Iliman Ndiaye, but that would leave Dibling wondering where he fits in Moyes’ plans.
David Moyes already makes Tyler Dibling assessment
Moyes has made it clear that he doesn’t think Dibling is good enough just yet to make an impact for Everton.
The Scottish manager has been reluctant to use the English winger even after facing multiple personnel issues in recent months.

Tyrique George signed for the Toffees on loan from Chelsea in the winter transfer window and has been ahead of Dibling in the pecking order.
No matter what the Merseyside outfit try to say about the former Southampton ace, Moyes’ actions speak louder.
