Everton unseen moments vs Crystal Palace: Tarkowski’s pointed message, Moyes and Glasner in exchange
Everton were held to a 2-2 draw away to Crystal Palace.
Everton couldn’t put an end to their winless run in the Premier League on Sunday, despite both James Tarkowski and Beto getting on the scoresheet.
The latter’s inclusion raised eyebrows after Thierno Barry’s brace against Man City, though he justified his selection with a composed finish.
It’s now five games in a row without a win for Everton, who have hit a slump at the worst time of the season.
Everton’s European hopes remain somewhat intact, but there were several other moments that went unnoticed in their latest encounter.

James Tarkowski directs a gesture to David Moyes
Sunday’s clash at Selhurst Park got off to the best start for the Toffees, who took the lead inside the first six minutes.
James Tarkowski opened the scoring after an Everton corner, which will be a positive for David Moyes in itself, given their lack of threat from set pieces.

But even more so with the Scotsman having previously called on Tarkowski to get more goals from those scenarios.
Tarkowski was seen cupping his ears, seemingly towards Moyes, after he scored the goal and wheeled away in celebration.
Moyes and Glasner exchange words after penalty shout
Not long after Palace had equalised through Ismaila Sarr, the Eagles also had shouts for a penalty waved away.
James Garner seemed to push Jorgen Strand Larsen with no intention of winning the ball, though VAR deemed it unworthy of a penalty.
Shortly after, Moyes and Oliver Glasner were seen exchanging words, seemingly over the incident, with the fourth official forced to step in.
With plenty riding on the game for Everton, it was understandable that tensions were high.
Jordan Pickford’s fume at his teammates
Jordan Pickford has so often been Everton’s saviour, though he was left helpless with both goals scored by Crystal Palace.

Sarr finished well for Palace’s opening goal, while Jean Philippe Mateta was afforded far too much space in the penalty area to equalise in the second half.
And that left Pickford rather agitated, with the England international seen raging at his defenders for not being tight enough to the Frenchman.
Having made six saves in the game to keep the Eagles at bay for the most part, he was well within his rights to do so.
