Tyler Dibling dream still alive at Everton after Merlin Rohl turnaround
Tyler Dibling has found himself struggling to get playing time at Everton, but all hope may not be lost for the young Englishman.
The former Southampton man arrived with big expectations after impressing for the south coast club and joining for a substantial fee.
Dibling was purchased for £40million total package, and while he is not the one to decide his price tag, he has failed to come even close to living up to it.
Instead, David Moyes has opted to turn to his favourites, with the 20-year-old cast aside for much of the campaign.
However, ahead of next season for Everton, Dibling may still have hope of becoming an important asset under Moyes.

Merlin Rohl escapes the fringes of Everton’s squad
Rohl has been in the same boat as Dibling too, but over the last month, the German has begun to showcase his qualities.
The midfielder has had to be patient to get a run of chances, but he has begun to take them effectively.
| Merlin Rohl in last three Everton appearances | Total |
| Minutes played | 257 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Chances created | 1 |
| Carries | 16 |
The 23-year-old has started the last three games for the Toffees in the Premier League, more than double his previous starts throughout the campaign.
Moyes’ patience with Rohl was then rewarded when the German struck the Blues’ goal against Sunderland. However, they would ultimately go on to lose the game 3-1.
On a personal note, Rohl will be delighted to finally be off the mark for Everton in what was his first goal since making the summer move.
However, for Dibling, the scenario should put fire into his eyes. While he is still in the position that Rohl was often in, the former Freiburg man has proven that with hard work Moyes will turn to you.
Not all hope is lost for Dibling, and his dream of becoming a key asset for a Premier League side is not entirely over yet, despite his lack of minutes this season.

Tyler Dibling needs to hit pre-season running for Everton
Pre-season will be Dibling’s best chance at changing his Everton circumstances, with Moyes likely to hand more minutes to those on the fringes of his plans.
The Blues are likely to have quite a full squad for the beginning of the preparations for the next campaign, with Iliman Ndiaye, Idrissa Gueye, Jordan Pickford and James Garner potentially being the only stars that could still be at the World Cup.
With Ndiaye potentially arriving to pre-season late, it opens up a chance for a wide player to make their mark early in training.
Dibling must step up or else next season could be more of the same. If he has a poor pre-season, then a loan away would be the best move for everyone involved.
