Everton do not want to turn into a selling club, but their hand could be forced with Iliman Ndiaye.

The 26-year-old is one of the more sellable assets currently at Hill Dickinson Stadium alongside midfielder James Garner.

Ndiaye has been a star player for the Toffees over the last few years, showcasing creativity and bravery in his attacking play.

Finding attackers like Ndiaye can often be difficult, and losing the Senegalese winger would not be an ideal situation.

Ndiaye has often been inconsistent for Everton, so there is certainly every chance that the L3 outfit could locate a better forward.

The Senegalese international secured nine goal contributions throughout the whole season, but a lot of those involvements came in sporadic moments.

Moyes has even spoken about this inconsistency back in October 2025 saying: “He’s a great lad to work with. He’s shown some brilliant moments, especially in the first half against Manchester City, but we just want him to be like that in all the games.”

In the final 12 games of the season, when the Blues needed their forwards to step up, Ndiaye only picked up three involvements.

This is not to take away from the performances that Ndiaye has put in for Everton but rather to offer perspective.

If the Blues can rake in a hefty fee for a player, who can be frustrating at times, and open the door to bringing in a player who affects games more often, that looks to be the smartest play.
