Everton exit for Dele Alli step closer after positive Thursday talks with Besiktas
Dele Alli is one step closer to leaving Everton this summer after positive discussions with Besiktas on Thursday, according to the Daily Mail.
The 26-year-old only joined the Toffees in the dying hours of the January transfer window from Tottenham Hostpur but a very uninspiring seven months have seen him near the exit door already.
Thursday evening’s healthy negotiations could mean that a deal is accelerated to ensure the England international can play against Fatih Karagumruk in the Turkish Super League on Sunday (21 August).

Besiktas want an initial loan deal from Everton before making the move permanent next summer to ensure they don’t overspend this summer having already made a number of signings.
Farhad Moshiri has not yet had to pay any money to Spurs for the 26-year-old with the deal structured so the Toffees pay £10million for every 20 appearances he makes up to 80, but he has only made 13 so far.
Relief
This is fantastic news for Evertonians who no longer have to see a former wonderkid struggle in front of their own eyes on in their club’s shirt.
Alli has not been his best for a good two or three years and he needed a complete reset that Everton just could not offer with the British media ready to criticise his every move.

Moving to Turkey could be the answer to all of his prayers where he can get away from everyone that has dragged him down over the past few years and focus on getting back to his best.
He will tear the Turkish Super League to pieces if he finds it but he was never going to make it happen at Goodison Park even with Frank Lampard as his manager.
It looks set to be a profitable deal for Everton too although Spurs are owed 20% of any transfer fee so not every penny from the Turks will find its way into Moshiri’s pockets.
