Tino Livramento and Miguel Almiron are not part of the Newcastle United squad to face Everton, according to Craig Hope.

The Daily Mail journalist shared the update via his personal X account shortly ahead of Tuesday evening's (2 April) clash at St James' Park.

Both players pulled up injured during Newcastle's dramatic 4-3 win over West Ham at the weekend and have not recovered in time.

Hope tweeted: "Tino Livramento & Miguel Almiron missing from NUFC squad tonight."

Newcastle United vs West Ham team news

Newcastle being without key pair Livramento and Almiron is not all that surprising given the quick turnaround in matches.

The win over West Ham was as dramatic as they come, but it came at a cost as Jamal Lascelles also limped off.

Indeed, the Magpies could be without an entire team of players against Everton as 11 are either definitely out or major doubts.

Among those is Anthony Gordon, who misses out on a reunion with his former club after picking up two yellow cards in that game with West Ham.

Everton are only likely to be without Dele Alli and Arnaut Danjuma for the clash at St James' Park, while Vitaliy Mykolenko is also doubtful.

Given the extreme nature of Newcastle's injury list, Everton should really be targeting a much-needed return to winning ways in this fixture.
