How much were Everton bought for?
Moshiri was a highly unpopular figure at Goodison Park as he oversaw a period of instability both on and off the pitch.
The former owner initially bought shares in the club in 2016 and increased this from 49.9 per cent to 95.5 per cent in 2022.
Under his management, the Toffees found themselves battling at the wrong end of the table season upon season and losing money.
Everton were referred to an independent commission by the Premier League for breaching PSR across a three-year period. As a result, the club were deducted 10 points before it was later reduced to six after an appeal.
However, another breach meant the club received a further two-point deduction.
The deal took some time to complete, but after receiving approval from the Premier League, the club was acquired by Roundhouse Capital Holdings, an entity of the Friedkin Group for a sum of £400million. The new owners have also written off the previous Everton debts.

What is Dan Friedkin’s net worth?
It’s early days into The Friedkin Group’s ownership of Everton, but things are certainly looking up with David Moyes having been brought back to Goodison as manager.
Everton’s soon-to-be chairman Friedkin’s net worth is reportedly around £5.81billion.
