Holgate was taken off after 36 minutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Yerry Mina replacing him in the defeat.

The Colombian international is yet to start a Premier League fixture since the enforced lockdown, with the South American suffering with an injury of his own.

The 25-year-old didn’t look out of place in North London and kept Harry Kane relatively quiet for the hour he was on the pitch.

Mina completed 84% of his passes as well as managing one tackle and winning a couple of aerial battles according to WhoScored – solid.

It will be a massive evening for Mina, with Ancelotti confirming that Holgate should only miss one game, so he will be looking to cement his spot.
