Everton ended the season disastrously on Sunday afternoon, falling to a 3-1 defeat against Bournemouth at Goodison Park.

The Cherries will be a Championship club next season, but it looked like it was the Toffees were the ones who should be relegated based on this performance.

Moise Kean's equaliser was just a consolation goal in the end in Merseyside as Carlo Ancelotti's men limped over the line.

Jordan Pickford once again made a mistake for Junior Stanislas' goal in the second half, letting the ball slide past him into the net well too easily.

Jamie Carragher was commentating on the game for Sky Sports and claimed it summed up Pickford's season - embarrassing.

"Talk about summing Everton's season up, I think the goalkeeper sums his own season up with that," he said.

"Embarrassing effort to try and keep it out."

Pickford has made a number of mistakes this season and is slowly getting more and more infuriating for the Toffees fan base.

His reaction to making a mistake at Wolves and having his blushes spared was to stick his tongue out at the camera - something you should never do when getting dominated and easily beaten.

Carlo Ancelotti may look to reinforce inbetween the sticks over the summer, and ESPN have reported that Everton could target Sergio Romero from Manchester United - watch out Pickford.
