Report: Paris Saint-Germain join Everton in forward hunt as £25million price-tag set

Everton have identified two clear areas that they need to strengthen this summer, defence and in attack.

Carlo Ancelotti will go through his first transfer window at Goodison Park, with the Italian looking to put his stamp on this Toffees side.

The Toffees got the chance to scout some of Bournemouth’s players on the final day, with the Cherries relegated from the Premier League.

It has been reported that they could place a £15million bid for Josh King over the summer, although that may not be enough.

The Sun has reported that Bournemouth will let King leave the Vitality Stadium, but for no less than £25million.

According to the report, over 10 clubs are interested in the Norweigian international including French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

It is a steep sum to pay for a 28-year-old who is technically a Championship player, although it could prove to be a smart move.

Manchester United were interested in King back in January, and even saw a £20million bid rejected, so with relegation, it is hard to see why Bournemouth are still demanding Premier League prices.

King was involved in 10 goals in his 26 appearances, and Ancelotti would no doubt be demanding more from the striker if he was to move to Goodison Park.

Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin will no doubt lead the line next season, so King could be seen as more of a winger – something that would see his 10 goal involvements become impressive.
