Everton have all-but-sealed a deal for Napoli midfielder Allan.

The Toffees are working hard to please Carlo Ancelotti, who would like serious reinforcements to his midfield at Goodison Park.

As well as Allan, Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure and Real Madrid's James Rodriguez could also both seal moves to Merseyside.

Everton

Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently confirmed that Allan is on the verge of moving to Goodison Park.

"Allan and Milik? The first will join Everton, we are ready to say goodbye," he said via Gianluca di Marzio.

The Sky Sports journalist detailed in the same report as the quotes that the deal will cost a maximum of £25million.

It has been quiet on Everton's side as they look to complete a number of deals, but this makes us believe that it is all but done already.

Everton

Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that the Brazilian had already agreed personal terms with Everton to seal a reunion with his former boss.

As well as that, Allan has had his medical scheduled, something that should see the deal announced once that is completed without hiccups.

Allan is everything that Everton need in their midfield, with previous managers looking for too much flair in a position where they are clearly lacking strength.

The South American will add much-needed grit and steel, and that will see the Toffees benefit almost immediately in the Premier League.
