Everton want to sign Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes in a cut-price deal this summer, according to Calciomercato.

The La Liga side are currently in the middle of a financial crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are looking to sell players.

It is suggested that Valencia could accept an offer as low as £12.9million in what would be  a serious financial loss for the club.

Paris Saint-Germain are set for 15-20% of any fee paid for an exit from Valencia, which isn't helping their cause.

To make a profit, the Spanish side would have to accept an offer of £21.6million from any club interested; something that looks unlikely.

Valencia are clearly desperate.

This is perfect for the Toffees, who themselves are desperate for more attacking options heading into next season at Goodison Park.

Options non-existent.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, James Rodriguez and Richarlison are the only three attackers that have shown their quality this season.

Those chosen to come in when needed simply aren't good enough.

Josh King and Bernard look likely to be moving on, along with Theo Walcott and Yannick Bolasie as the final third clearout begins.

Guedes would be the perfect signing at less than £13million.

The 24-year-old was involved in 10 goals last season but has been described as "incredible" over the past few seasons at the Mestalla.

Ancelotti has to take advantage of the crisis at Valencia and bring in a player full of experience despite his young age, this could be a massive bargain.
