Everton release home kit for 2021/22 season

Everton have officially released their new Hummel home kit for the 2021/22 season.

After months of waiting, Evertonians can now finally get their hands on the new home kit designed over the past few months.

The jersey displays a seamless blend of different shades of blue with yellow and white on the sleeves. Shirt sponsors Cazoo will also be displayed more prominently in the Toffees’ kits for next season.

Star names like Richarlison, James Rodriguez and Michael Keane are part of the unveiling video with footage of the players donning the kit at Goodison Park.

Excited for the new season

A new season with a new manager and a new jersey – there is a certain excitement going into the 2021/22 campaign.

After four weeks of uncertainty and unrest on the streets of Merseyside, we finally found out that our new manager is Rafa Benitez. Despite early inhibitions and protests, most Toffees are willing to give the former Liverpool boss some time to prove himself.

Our next focus should be on getting in names through the door and deal with the outgoings as soon as possible.

We cannot afford to undo the team Carlo Ancelotti built as there are some big names that could help us reach the next level.

Strengthening our defence should be the priority as we must bring in a right-back and another centre-back.

A wide attacker coming through the door would also be welcome, especially given the uncertainty surrounding James Rodriguez’s future.

That said, Benitez comes to Goodison Park with the experience of winning trophies and we’re hoping he can help turn the fortune giants of this sleeping giant.

He will be given the tools to succeed but must be wary that Evertonians aren’t going to be easy to please, especially after what he’s said about the club in the past.
