Everton Super Fans elated as club in talks for Denzel Dumfries

PSV Eindhoven are reportedly preparing to receive a bid from Everton for right-back Denzel Dumfries.
Rik Elfrink from Dutch publication Eindhovens Dagblad has stated that Everton are in talks with the player over a summer move.
On a YouTube live stream for Voetbal International, their journalist Marco Timmer said, “Yes, of course, there are negotiations going on, and with that, it can also be counted on the negotiations that in this case, Mino Raiola is conducting with Dortmund or Liverpool, for example, for Malen and Inter and Everton for Dumfries, so he has been given that space.”
His agent Raiola is set to pocket a great deal from this deal, but it’s understood that he would be available for an initial 13million – which is an absolute steal for an international right-back in his prime.
If his performances at Euro 2020 are anything to go by, he would be a good fit for the Toffees and an upgrade on Seamus Coleman.

We’re in dire need of a right-back this summer, given the fact that Coleman is 32 and is likely to be in the final stretch of his professional career.
It would be unfair on him to play every game and have him run and up and down the pitch tirelessly for 90 minutes.
However, Dumfries is a player that would perfectly fit the mould and ease Coleman’s workload.
Rafa Benitez could take a few weeks to introduce him, but once the Dutchman has adapted to the Premier League, he and Lucas Digne could form one of the division’s best full-back pairings.
The two would compliment each other perfectly and it’s now on to Marcel Brands to get the deal over the line as soon as possible.
