Everton attacker Richarlison keen on Real Madrid move

Everton star Richarlison is eyeing up a move to Real Madrid this summer, according to a report from EuroSport.

They claim that the 24-year-old “has his eyes on Real Madrid” to reunite with Carlo Ancelotti. The report also claims that the Toffees are “hopeful they can hold onto Richarlison”, and they expect him to return to the first team after the Olympics with “full focus”.

EuroSport also claim that it is “unclear” if a move to Real would be even possible in this transfer window. However, it does seem as if the Brazilian has his heart set on a move to the Bernabeu, and it will be interesting to see if he gets his move.

Will the Toffees let Richarlison go?

Back in January 2020, Barcelona made an £85million bid for the Brazilian, which was swiftly rejected [Sky Sports].

So it would be intriguing to see if Real came up with an offer at least similar to that or if the Toffees would be willing to accept less for one of their star players because of the pandemic.

Richarlison has been described as “fantastic” by Ancelotti and in 119 appearances for Everton he has scored 42 goals and provided nine assists, which is a good return [the Liverpool Echo].

We are not convinced if those numbers are good enough for Real Madrid, but Ancelotti has apparently spoken to the Brazilian about following him to Real [Goal].

It seems as if those conversations have worked because now Richarlison wants to leave for Real.

This could certainly be a transfer to keep an eye on as the window progresses but should Everton decide to let Richarlison join Real, we hope that they receive a massive fee for the 24-year-old.

In other Everton news, the Toffees want to re-sign a Premier League star.
