Richarlison will not be moving to Real Madrid

Fabrizio Romano has ruled out Everton attacker Richarlison moving to Real Madrid this summer.

Last month, Eurosport reported that the Brazilian has his eyes set on a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

They stated that Everton were hoping to convince the player to stay beyond this transfer window.

According to Sky Sports Italy’s Romano, there’s no truth to these claims.

When asked about whether Richarlison to Real Madrid was possible on his Twitch stream, Romano simply replied saying, “No”.

Likely he stays

With James Rodriguez’s future up in the air and him possibly edging on the side of an exit this summer, we are unlikely to sell two of our three best attacking players in one window.

The Brazilian has had barren patches where he’s been struggling for his best performances, but all in all, he’s been an attacker that managers have relied upon and we’re expecting Rafa Benitez to get the best out of him.

The 24-year-old has been thriving for his country at the Olympic Games and is one win away from coming back to Merseyside with the gold medal.

Getting that under his belt will be a huge motivational booster for him as players enjoy winning silverware in any form and hopefully he could soon achieve a trophy-winning season with his club as well.

As far as his exit goes, we believe they’re fabricated reports and the player is happy to stay at Everton and lead the line with Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
