Kevin Campbell thrilled by Seamus Coleman contract at Everton
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has hailed Everton captain Seamus Coleman after he signed a new contract at Goodison Park this week.
The Irish veteran has been one of the bargain’s of the Premier League since it began, and continues to catch the eye.
Campbell has predicted that Coleman will now play out his career and retire at Goodison Park, cementing his legendary status.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “Well deserved.
“He’s been an unbelievable player, captain for the team and his performances are still there.
“Definitely a new contract, look after him and I could see him playing out his career at Everton.”

Perfect.
Coleman is the perfect influence in this squad.
Rafa Benitez will have been relying on the experienced options in his squad to help the transition to a new manager smooth.
Having done that, Coleman will likely have earned himself another contract after some stellar performances last season, too.
The Irishman is also set to start the Premier League season with no right-back having been signed yet.
Denzel Dumfries has been consistently mentioned, but no progress has been made, and that opens the door for another year with Coleman shining down the right.
