Kevin Campbell shares verdict on Richarlison return to Everton
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has backed Richarlison to have another successful year at Everton under Rafa Benitez.
The Brazilian is fresh off winning a gold medal and the golden boot for his country at the Olympics and returned to Finch Farm this week.
Campbell believes that will unleash him into the Premier League perfectly and that 15 goals should be a good target for him.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “He’s fit, obviously been playing.
“I expect him to have a really good season under Rafa Benitez. The quicker he can get to double figures, the better – he has got the capabilities.
“He’s got the talent. The more goals that could be shared around, the better, so 10 to 15, and then obviously, if he can get 15, he can push on after that.”

Perfect.
There were big doubts surrounding the decision to allow Richarlison go to Japan and compete in the Olympics.
Looking back at that though, it looks to have been the perfect decision.
The South American was firing on all cylinders and will be in the form of his life going into the new season.
Benitez may not have had him during pre-season, but will surely start him against Southampton this weekend.
Should he get off the mark here with an early goal, there is no telling how far he could go under the Spaniard this season.
