Everton set to increase offer for Luis Diaz

Everton are set to increase their offer for Luis Diaz to 30million Euros [£25.8million] plus James Rodriguez, according to Pipe Sierra.

The journalist who works for Win Sports TV in Colombia revealed that the Toffees are set to make one last bid for Diaz on his personal Twitter account.

He also claims that the Champions League side will decide if they are going to accept the bid or not in the coming hours.

Diaz to end up at Goodison after all?

There was a claim from Bruno Andrade that the Toffees had seen their first bid for the 24-year-old rejected.

However, it now appears as if Everton are going all-in by offering close to £26million and Rodriguez, who has surely played his final game in Merseyside.

Surely that should be enough to convince Porto to part ways with Diaz?

Considering they paid just £6.5million to sign him in January 2019, they would be making a huge profit as well as bringing Rodriguez back to the place where he first made his name as a top footballer.

However, with time running out, you would have thought that the Toffees need Porto to make a decision quickly.

So this could certainly be a transfer to watch as the window approaches its conclusion this evening with the international break hopefully not enough to bring an end to these discussions.
