Yerry Mina could miss weekend clash v West Ham due to 10pm Colombia game
Yerry Mina could miss the Everton clash against West Ham game this weekend as he’ll be relieved late from international duty.
The 27-year-old is currently out on international duty with Colombia and is set to take on Ecuador on Thursday night.
What may cause a problem is the game will finish at midnight UK time, which means that even if he leaves immediately, he is not likely to be available to train on Friday.

This will leave him with just one training session ahead of the game on Sunday and that might not be enough for him to be given the nod to start.
Jetlag and fatigue, both in terms of travelling and game time, may take a massive toll on his body and Rafa Benitez could be advised to rest him.
This would be a huge blow for the Spaniard as Mina has been his best central defender this season and he would’ve loved to have his physicality against a pacey and strong attacker in Michail Antonio.
While Michael Keane may have done decently after a wretched start to the season, he does not have the same effect as Mina.

Also, should Seamus Coleman not be fit in time, Ben Godfrey may have to continue deputising at right-back.

This makes matters worse for Benitez as he’s already sweating over the fitness of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
