Everton concerned Abdoulaye Doucoure facing long-term absence - Paul Joyce
Everton are concerned with an injury recently picked up by midfield star Abdoulaye Doucoure this week.
Paul Joyce has reported that the Toffees believe the Frenchman has broken his foot with the major blow.
It is suggested by The Times journalist that Doucoure is facing a lengthy absence away from the action at Goodison Park.
Writing on his personal Twitter account this morning, Joyce shared the less-than-positive update on the midfielder.
“Everton concerned Abdoulaye Doucoure is facing lengthy time out with broken foot,” he wrote.

This is a massive blow, there is no sugar-coating it.
Rafa Benitez plays a flat midfield four in his system at Goodison Park, and the central midfield pairing is at the heart of that.
Allan and Doucoure have formed an even brighter partnership since the start of the season, with their dynamic power a huge contributor to our success.
The Brazilian often plays deeper and it allows the former Watford man to burst into the final third – something which has already delivered success and goals to his game.
It is unknown where the incident happened given that he completed the full game in the 1-0 defeat against West Ham, but that isn’t the point.
This is a massive blow, and we now desperately need the likes of Tom Davies to step up moving forward.
