Everton-linked Aaron Ramsey up for sale in January

Everton-linked Aaron Ramsey is looking for a new challenge in January, according to Sky Sports Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano.

He has claimed that Juventus will be looking to offload him in the winter window, which could prove to be good news for the Toffees fans.

The fact that he’s out of plans and keen on a move away from Turin, means Merseyside may be a tempting destination for him.

Via his personal Twitter account, Romano wrote, “Juventus are still planning to find a solution to sell Aaron Ramsey in January. He’s out of the plans and looking for a potential new challenge.”

A number of sources have reported Everton’s interest in him, such as Calciomercato, who stated in October that they were “increasingly likely” to sign him in January.

The fact that Juventus are so also willing to cash in and he’s keen on a way out only makes it that much easier to complete the transfer.

He would come to Goodison Park with experience of playing with world class players and winning trophies in England and Italy.

He’s also played a number of years in the Premier League so adapting to the English game would not be a challenge for him.

Champions League experience helps mould a player’s game and he’s accrued multiple appearances in Europe’s elite competition for both Arsenal as well as Juventus.

The Toffees desperately need a midfielder who can score goals and create chances, especially after James Rodriguez’s exit, and Ramsey could prove to be the perfect January signing for Rafa Benitez.

Ramsey’s arrival on Merseyside would be good news financially for the club and it would help the club sell a significant amount of his jerseys as he will be a fairly marketable acquisition.
