Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford wanted by Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte wants to sign Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, according to reports from The Telegraph.
Hugo Lloris has been a long-term servant at the club. He is in the final season of his current contract, and Spurs are already eyeing his long-term replacement.
Conte wants a British goalkeeper who can establish himself as first-choice at the club, and sees Pickford as a ‘high-profile’ player who fits the bill.

Pickford joined Everton in 2017 from Sunderland for a fee of £25 million. He was outstanding for England during the Euro championships and has been in fine form for the Toffees as well under Rafa Benitez.
The Telegraph adds that the Blues expect to make a profit on the shot-stopper.
Unlikely
The 27-year-old has two years remaining on his present deal, and Everton would be expected to make a big profit should they sell him.
Unless, Spurs come up with a lucrative pay package, which is way more than what he has been earning at Goodison Park, there’s no reason why he should join the London club.

Conte is a top-class manager, no doubt, but unless Spurs make serious improvement under him, Pickford has no reason to leave Everton.
During the summer transfer window, Benitez admitted that Everton were crippled by the financial fair play rules. The Toffees managed to spend only £1.8 million.
Benitez would love to have a decent transfer budget where he can sign players of his choice. Everton won’t be interested in selling their senior players, but Pickford could earn them a huge profit.
