Everton open to signing Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey for £13m
Everton are prepared to shell out £13million to sign Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to Italian media outlet Calciomercato.
The Serie A giants are understood to be desperate to get him off the wage bill and their president Andrea Agnelli is willing to cash in on him in January.
There also were talks about terminating his contract earlier, but they’re now keen on getting a transfer fee from his sale.

Stay away
The Ramsey reports are getting ridiculous and we’re surprised that the club are actually willing to shell out £13million to sign him.
He clearly is a shadow of the player he once was and even at his peak, his career was plagued with injuries.
Sure, he did have some exceptional moments in the Premier League, but unfortunately, he is not the same player he was a few years ago.
The Daily Mail quoted Martin Keown as labelling him “outstanding” two years ago, but his performances in Turin have been everything but.

He hasn’t looked the part in a star-studded squad and has failed to live up to expectations there.
Even if the Toffees do bring him to the club, they would have to match his astronomical wages – something they’re not in a financial position to do.
The best thing to do is sign an up-and-coming player in that position as he would be cheaper and there at the club for a longer time as well.
