Inter Milan want to sign Everton left-back Lucas Digne
Inter Milan have reportedly shown an interest in signing Everton defender Lucas Digne.
According to Italian media outlet Spazio Inter, the defending Serie A champions have been monitoring the 28-year-old’s situation for a while.
The source is an online fanzine with insider updates on Inter and have conducted exclusive interviews with reputed players in the past.
Their interest in the France international comes after The Athletic reported that Rafa Benitez fell out with him and dropped him from the squad against Arsenal.
Must keep him
Digne may question the manager’s style which is, quite frankly, not pretty to watch, but should not be sold.
He’s a player that would make most, if not all the Premier League sides better, and must be kept at Goodison Park.
Managers and players keep having fallouts and it’s only normal for things to boil over control.
We know that Digne is professional enough to not let all this get to his head and focus on winning football matches for the team.
Benitez will be aware that without the Frenchman, his side looks significantly weaker and will find it hard to win games.
We do not see this lasting for too long and he should be back in the starting eleven this weekend.
