Alan Myers: Rafa Benitez arrives for scheduled Everton meeting on Monday

Rafa Benitez has arrived for a scheduled Everton meeting at the Liver Buildings on Monday afternoon.

That’s according to Alan Myers, who insists there is “nothing to see” with the meeting already planned in advance.

The spotlight is growing brighter on Benitez, though, with form simply shocking at Goodison Park in recent months.

Writing on his personal Twitter account this afternoon, Myers shared the major news that got people excited despite his warning.

“Rafa Benitez at the Liver Buildings for a scheduled meeting, nothing to see here,” he wrote.

Sacking?

It looks as though this is what most fans want at Goodison Park, with the defeat at Crystal Palace the tipping point for many.

The consistency has been shocking, there is no hiding from that, and the win over Arsenal last week simply makes things even more frustrating for the fans.

It looks as though it could be about January transfer plans after the board reshuffle with the likes of Marcel Brands leaving.

Having said that, it is the perfect time for the likes of Farhad Moshiri to send a real warning to Benitez, he won’t have much time if this continues.

Bill Kenwright is said to have made his feelings clear to Moshiri, and now the future of Rafa lays in his hands – given Myers words, it looks as though they will be more time handed to him.
