Richard Keys takes another swipe at Premier League form of Everton

Ricard Keys has taken yet another major swipe at Everton this week in the closing statement of his blog.

After beating Arsenal last week, the Toffees returned to usual service by getting turned over easily 3-1 against Crystal Palace yesterday (12th December).

Keys destroyed the form under Rafa Benitez in the Premier League and pointed towards the potential of relegation yet again.

Writing in his blog on Monday, Keys decided to go off-piste at the end of a completely different topic just to destroy the Toffees.

“Here’s a sequence that’s interesting – frightening if you’re an Evertonian,” he wrote.

“The Toffees have picked up 5 points from their last 30 available. In the same time, Watford have 6/30. Newcastle 7/30. Brighton 8/30. Burnley 10/30.

“Can anyone guess the likely outcome if that continues? I’ve nothing else to add on the subject this week.”

Here we go.

Keys simply can’t help himself and in a bid to stay relevant, he likes to mention Everton in every last blog he produces, no matter what is happening.

Yes, form is dreadful at Goodison Park right now, but can he really think that relegation is a real possibility?

We don’t think he does, especially given that we still have huge name players to return in the coming weeks ahead of January.

With changes at board level too, a new approach in the winter market could welcome new faces to the squad compared to the likes of Norwich, who may struggle to do that.

The wins will start to come sooner rather than later, we are confident of that and relegation will not be spoken about in a couple of months.
