Kevin Campbell has been left thrilled by Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite after the 1-1 draw against Chelsea in the past week.
The former Toffees talisman was delighted by the “brilliant” finish and point picked up at Stamford Bridge.
Branthwaite sealed his first Premier League goal after being drafted in for the first time by Rafa Benitez at the club.
“Listen, I thought they were excellent,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“They nearly won it in the end, the youngsters showed that forget about the reputations, let’s have a game of football and battle.

“Branthwaite coming up with that goal, it was superb – a centre-halves goal lunged and reached a devilish delivery into the box.
“Absolutely brilliant.”
Beautiful.
Branthwaite was sensational and dealt with one of the most dangerous attacks in Europe with relative ease at times.
The young defender will be relishing every last chance he is going to get at Goodison Park, but with postponements taking place, he may be back on the bench next time out.
It would be expected, but some may believe that it is a harsh decision after his goal and performance at Stamford Bridge.
Campbell is right, the young players didn’t care about reputation and they got stuck in and that is more than can be said for the senior players before this one.
