Richard Keys takes aim at Rafa Benitez over Lucas Digne and Peter Reid comments
Richard Keys has taken aim at Rafa Benitez over his ongoing feud with Everton star Lucas Digne this month.
The Frenchman has told the club he wants to leave, leading to the boss dropping a Peter Reid analogy which didn’t go down well.
Keys responded to those claims, insisting that Reid wouldn’t have fallen out with Digne, who had an “impeccable” record before Benitez arrived.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Keys addressed the situation and unloaded both barrels on Benitez over the developments.
“My guess is Reidy wouldn’t have fallen out with him,” he said.
“A player with an impeccable record at Everton – until Benitez arrived. Something changed.”
Can’t help himself.
Keys has a funny obsession with the Toffees, but for once, we finally might agree with what he is saying.
Benitez mentioning Reid in his latest press conference appeared to be a desperate last attempt to get us fans on his side going forward.
Instead, it just made it very clear that something isn’t quite right.
Digne has not complained once since arriving, and now all of a sudden, he is set to leave without even a whisper from himself.
Reid admitted he didn’t see it as a dig after it happened, but he made perfect sense when arguing that putting Digne on the bench made no sense at all.
