Alan Myers: More Everton outgoings likely after Lucas Digne exit

Alan Myers has insisted that more Everton outgoings are possible after Lucas Digne’s exit was confirmed.

The Frenchman has moved to Aston Villa for upwards of £25million after his very focal fallout with Rafa Benitez.

Myers has shared that may not be the only name leaving Goodison Park, though, with money needing to be raised.

Quizzed by fans on social media, Myers is never one to shy away from developments in Merseyside.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, the Sky Sports journalist shared if outgoings were likely in the next two weeks.

“Possible,” he simply said.

Needed.

Everton have endured that many toxic transfer windows, that so many of this current squad could be shown the exit door.

Marcel Brands targeted experience for so long, and that is eventually catching up with the Toffees this season.

Experienced players such as Cenk Tosun and Fabian Delph are not satisfying their roles, in different ways, and are taking up huge wages.

No wonder Financial Fair Play rules are catching up with the club when things such as that continue to happen.

It would be a good end to the window if players such as that were shown the exit door, and another new face was to arrive.

Benitez has to make things right after the exit of Digne, and getting rid of some other faces who continue to stink out the place would certainly help.

Make it happen.
