Everton ace Richarlison left out of Brazil World Cup 2022 qualifying squad
Everton forward Richarlison has not been selected for Brazil’s upcoming World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
Brazil have already qualified from their group, securing a place in the tournament set to take place in Qatar.
Tite still opted to go for a strong squad for their remaining games with several Premier League players selected.
Richarlison has just returned to training for the Blues after suffering a calf injury against Crystal Palace.
This is great news for Everton. Richarlison will be looking to prove himself ahead of the 2022 World Cup. Once he returns from injury the forward will be looking to prove himself to Tite once again after a stop start season due to injuries.
His goals, assists, work rate and general drive to impress could prove crucial as the the Blues look to turn their from around in the new year.
Richarlison would have been absolutely desperate to play a part in this squad with the maestro just returning from injury at Finch Farm.
Representing their national teams is vitally important for South American players, especially when there is a World Cup on the horizon.
The 24-year-old will hope his injury issues won’t have an impact on his selection for the finals with his fitness status being the deciding factor in his absence from the most recent squad.
With that being said, Tite knows what type of player he has on his hands with the Toffees forward. He quickly made a name for himself whilst winning gold for Brazil in the Olympics and has now furthered his reputation in his home country with successive Copa America squad selections.
