Everton programme set to be without USM branding for first time in years v Boreham Wood
Everton pre-match programme against Boreham Wood is set to be without any USM branding for the first time in years, per the Liverpool Echo.
This has been something that was prevalent, given the company’s close ties with the club and Finch Farm.
However, due to Alisher Usmanov’s close ties with Vladimir Putin, the club do not want to see being in business with him.

Significant steps
The club have already started their processes to remove all branding that affiliates Usmanov with them.
Work has begun in and around Goodison Pak as Everton look to send a clear message about their stance on the current political climate.
They decided that they will suspend all commercial ties with USM, MegaFon and Yota after Russia’s invasion on Ukraine.
This will likely be the final nail in the coffin of Usmanov’s five-year long association with the Toffees.

He got into an agreement with them in 2017 and saw the club’s training ground named USM Finch Farm.
Usmanov then saw the club profit in a number of ways through different affiliated companies, but all of it has now come to an end.
This may see Everton struggle to meet FFP guidelines but they certainly cannot continue to be in business with such organisations and oligarchs.
