Michael Owen predicts result of Everton v Boreham Wood
Everton will be looking to shake off their disappointment with a win against Boreham Wood in the FA Cup fifth-round tie on Thursday (3 March).
The Toffees are heading into this match on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Manchester City, but Michael feels they should win it comfortably, predicting a 4-0 win in his Bet Victor column while previewing the clash.
The visitors have had a “fairytale” run so far, and the unpredictable romance of the cup means they would fancy their chance at Goodison Park.

Owen wrote: “What a proper FA Cup tie this is, the magic of the Cup! Boreham Wood have had a fairytale run to get here and should savour their day at Goodison. This should be a comfortable Everton win. I’m sure Boreham Wood will compete here, but they just don’t have enough quality. 4-0 to Everton.”
Welcome distraction
Everton will still be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for this game, as he recovers from the adductor injury he picked ahead of the Manchester City clash.
The likes of Donny van de Beek and Dele Alli are also unavailable for this game as both are cup-tied.
The Toffees still have got plenty of quality in their ranks to register a comfortable win.

The league results have been poor and the Toffees are edging closer to the relegation territory.
This fixture has come as a welcome relief in that way, where the attention can be shifted elsewhere.
A comfortable victory here will boost the confidence in the team which they can build on that in their upcoming league clash against Tottenham.
Frank Lampard has suggested today (2 March) that Vitalii Mykolenko will play in this game, and it remains to be seen if Nathan Patterson gets a chance as well.
