Alan Myers: Everton working on alternative revenue streams
Alan Myers claims that Everton are working on alternative revenue streams after severing ties with sponsors this week.
The club are set to face a financial hit after Alisher Usmanov, who has close ties with Farhad Moshiri, had his assets seized.
All Russian-based companies that were sponsoring Everton saw their ties suspended amid the recent invasion of Ukraine.

On Sky Sports, Myers wrote, “In the short-term, there will be a significant impact as a result of the action taken this week.
“How far that affects the club’s profit and sustainability position within Premier League regulations is unknown, but I understand other revenue strands are currently being worked on in order to increase the commercial strength of the club.”
While this seems positive, it could lead to financial doom in the near future, given the crippling revenues.
Moshiri is a wise man and he knows that these aren’t ideal times for the club.
He has invested a considerable amount of money into this club but unfortunately things have not worked out as he would’ve planned.

The club have fallen foul of FFP and despite signing big name players and managers, have not managed to push up on the Premier League table.
Currently, they find themselves fighting a relegation battle and things do not seem like they’re improving.
Something needs to happen and it needs to happen soon or the club could have a number of years’ progress in vain if they find themselves in the Championship.
