Everton v Tottenham Hotspur player ratings: Seamus Coleman puts in shocker
Everton endured a shocking night against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night and suffered a 5-0 defeat.
They started the game strongly and put Spurs on the back foot, but once Michael Keane’s own goal was scored, the floodgates opened.
The visitors went on to score four goals without reply and often saw Antonio Conte’s men toying with them.

Here are our player ratings for this one:
Jordan Pickford 0
A shocking performance from the England number one. Was responsible for at least two of the five goals as he put in one of his worst-ever Toffees display.
Seamus Coleman 0
Much like Pickford, the Toffees skipper did nothing to even get one point on the board. Was caught in transition time and again and failed to build from the back successfully.
Mason Holgate 2
Was the best of the back three for Everton, which is saying a lot, given how bad they really were.
Michael Keane 0
Scored an own goal when he could’ve shaped his body in a way to clear his lines. His lack of pace was exposed time and again. Did not show positional awareness or put his physical frame to good use.

Anthony Gordon 4
Everton’s best player on the day, by far. Only one who tried to make things happen in the first half, but was anonymous in the second.
Abdoulaye Doucoure 3
Was loose with his passing and lost a number of key duels in midfield that saw the Toffees get run over.
Allan 3
One of his worst performances for Everton, given the high standards he’s set in the past.
Donny van de Beek 2
He’s probably not had as bad a game since moving to the Premier League. Looked off the pace and was chasing shadows until Lampard decided to take him off.
Jonjoe Kenny 3
Looked like he was the only one trying to make something happen in the second half. However, he was all over the place in the first 45.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin 1
Awful performance from the England international who did not even look fully fit for the game.
Richarlison 2
Was anonymous for most of the game and whenever he found the ball in the final third, he failed to do much with it.
Substitutes
Jarrad Branthwaite 2
Vitaliy Mykolenko 3
Dele Alli 2
