Manchester United tracking Everton ace Richarlison for over two seasons

Manchester United have reportedly been looking to sign Everton striker Richarlison for the past two seasons.

According to Goal, the Red Devils still hold an interest in the Brazilian and could look to sign him this summer.

Edinson Cavani appears set to leave the club while they are not certain about the future of Cristiano Ronaldo which has led to them planning ahead of the transfer window.

Should stay

We’ve read reports of big clubs being after Richarlison for years and nothing concrete has ever come of it.

Even if someone is keen on signing the Brazilian, there’s a good chance that Everton plays hard ball with them.

He’s one of the prized assets and is unlikely to leave on the cheap, certainly not to a club of United’s stature.

Their billionaire owners have perenially overpaid for players and while Richarlison may be worth big bucks, the Toffees could demand an even higher fee.

That said, we do not see Richarlison leaving this summer.

There is a chance that Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be persuaded into joining Arsenal and the club will not want two key attackers leaving in the same window.

Ideally, both should stay but the club are under pressure with FFP and may have to cash in on someone.
