Chris Sutton: Frank Lampard may not get bigger job than Everton
Chris Sutton believes that Frank Lampard is unlikely to get a bigger job than Everton if he does end up being sacked by them.
The former Chelsea midfielder slammed his players after the 4-0 loss against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.
Sutton believes that this is an admission of him thinking he may not be good enough for the job.

He told BBC, “I just wonder with Frank, and wondered at the time he took the job, I thought he was brave. Everton is a big club, but the club were in a real mess. This was always going to be a difficult task for him.
“His words at the weekend worried me a little bit, and they worried me because I actually thought for the first he may be doubting himself in maybe taking the job.
“My worry for Frank is if things don’t work out here, where does he go from Everton? He’s an intelligent man, but the way he’s talking I think there’s massive frustration.”
Facts
Lampard was way out of his depth at Chelsea and Everton is just a step before that job.
However, he has failed to garner the respect of the dressing room thus far and has proven that he may not be the man to turn things around.
Even if the Toffees finish 17th, is he really the right man for the job next season?

This side deserves to finish closer to the European places than the relegation zone.
Hopefully, he manages to turn things around or there’s a good chance he’s out of a job post May.
