Farhad Moshiri and Everton board fully back Frank Lampard despite 3-2 loss v Burnley
Farhad Moshiri and Bill Kenwright are still strongly backing Frank Lampard after Everton crashed to another defeat against Burnley.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who report that the mood in the boardroom is still positive at Goodison Park.
It is shared that club officials are not panicked regarding the fear of relegation and remain confident in Lampard and his team.
There has been talk of Lampard being shown the exit door in the past 24 hours, but that isn’t the case.
Of course, relegation is a massive fear of the fans, but it doesn’t look to have reached the boardroom yet.
Moshiri is set to fly into Liverpool this week ahead of the showdown against Manchester United, the first of a nightmare run to end the season.
Games with Leicester, Liverpool and Chelsea come thick and fast after, and you have to think that we have to start taking points sooner rather than later.

Lampard has had three months in the hot seat, and it is becoming clearer with each week that the players are the real problem.
Moshiri sacking the manager would be throwing him under the bus, but results need to come soon.
It would be catastrophic should we drop into the Championship, and it would be hard to recover financially given the amount of debt we are in.
Moshiri and Kenwright only have themselves to blame, never mind anyone else, this season has been nothing short of comedic from start to finish.
The fans know where to point the finger, and right now, it is square at the two men who are making these types of decisions.
