Jason Burt: Frank Lampard unlikely to stay at Everton
Jason Burt does not think Frank Lampard will retain his job after Everton suffered a 3-2 defeat against Burnley.
The Telegraph journalist claims that things were “Really bad” behind the scenes after the defeat.
He thinks Farhad Moshiri may pull off one last move and sack Lampard as he will do everything he can to stop the club from getting relegated.

Speaking on PL Today, Burt said, “I’m not sure he will survive. Knowing how they operate, Moshiri might do one more twist and get rid of him.
“I’m told it was really really bad after last night. The only thing you can do is change the manager.
“They could hand it to Duncan Ferguson until the end of the season.”
Is he going?
Lampard arrived at the club in the midst of a relegation dog fight and they needed a new manager bounce from him.
Things appeared rosy as he roped in a couple of players before the window shut and everything looked like it was falling in place.
However, the players have just not responded to his methods and the Burnley defeat showed a major weakness of character.

Moshiri now has a big decision on his hands as his last two appointments have been pure shambolic.
Giving Ferguson the job on an interim basis may not be the worst idea as he could at least galvanise the players.
