Independent intermediaries sound out potential new managers amid major Everton-Frank Lampard update

Independent intermediaries are sounding out potential new managers for Everton, according to Sky Sports.

It was reported on their website that Frank Lampard has the backing of the board for now despite major worries in the Premier League.

That isn’t to say Lampard couldn’t be sacked before the end of the season, and things are being put in place just in case.

Farhad Moshiri and Bill Kenwright are never afraid to make a big decision, so things could easily change with each passing game.

With huge showdowns against the likes of Manchester United, Leicester, Chelsea and Liverpool coming up, things could get much worst.

It should be emphasised that these are independent intermediaries, so no direct tie to Everton and the club, although they will have contact with the board.

This all depends on the future of Lampard, who looks to have been thrown under the bus given the scenario he arrived at.

Trouble.

It is brewing at Goodison Park, and it’s only going to end in tears.

There would be outrage from the stands if Lampard was to be sacked, how on earth can you build anything in three months?

He was given hours in the transfer window and tried to secure bargain deals, they haven’t worked out but this is years of shocking transfer business that has finally backfired.

This squad needs to be looked at more, and it is the majority of them who now need to shoulder the blame for their embarrassing displays.

Are there any decent managers available now? If they are, they can’t be great and we’ve already seen names such as Sam Allardyce thrown around.

Is that how low we have stooped? We need to get behind the lads and Lampard, starting tomorrow against Manchester United.
