Gary Lineker shares instant reaction to ‘Huge’ Everton win v Manchester United
Gary Lineker has shared his reaction to Everton picking up a huge three points against Manchester United this afternoon.
The Toffees have Anthony Gordon’s deflected strike to thank for the 1-0 win, extending the gap to Burnley below them to four points.
Lineker labelled the win at Goodison Park as “Massive” after a dull week in the build-up to this one in Merseyside.

Writing on his personal Twitter account instantly after the whistle, Lineker was clearly blown away by the result.
“Massive win for Everton,” he wrote.
“I know it’s only against Manchester United but it’s huge nevertheless.”
Huge.
Wow, what an afternoon.
We still aren’t quite sure how we can go from being as bad as were at Burnley, to as good as were today.
Of course, the simple answer is Goodison Park and this amazing home support, but hopefully, this inspires the squad to keep this up away from Merseyside too.
All of the talk going into this one was that Frank Lampard may be sacked, but that will all be thrown away after this one, forget about that.
This has to be the catalyst now.
It proves that no matter who we are coming up against, we can still pull off brilliant results and pick up three points when we need to.
Let this serve as a big warning to the likes of Leicester, Chelsea and Liverpool – the Toffees are coming and they are here to stay.
