It has finally caught up with him, with a potentially disastrous relegation to the Championship facing the club.
The 1-0 win over Manchester United was huge on Saturday, and it created that gap that we so desperately needed.
Anthony Gordon was once again the saviour, with the young winger holding the pressure of an entire city on his shoulders.
His deflected strike as well as his performance shows a fearless young player who is relishing every bit of responsibility.
Moshiri has to act now and hand Gordon a contract for his entire career, this is the player we must build our squad around.

It says it all that a 21-year-old is the one who is standing up right now, and he has to be rewarded for that, especially if we stay in the Premier League.

Gordon signed a new contract back in 2020 for five years at the time, and he has done more than enough in the two years since to earn another one.
Now an indispensable member of the starting XI, Frank Lampard has to push this case forward to become a big favourite at the Toffees.
Imagine the jubilation around the club if Gordon was to sign a new deal in the coming weeks, it would be a huge boost.
Moshiri can go a long way to forgiveness if he sanctioned this, it’s the least he could do for everything he has put us through.
