Richard Keys rages at what he saw as Everton picked up huge win v Manchester United

Richard Keys was left raging with what he saw at Goodison Park as Everton beat Manchester United on Saturday.

The beIN Sports host was left pleased with the Toffees picking up the three points, but insisted there was “nothing” to beat ahead of them.

Anthony Gordon’s deflected strike in the opening 45 minutes was enough for all three points, with United making no real chances after.

Writing on his latest blog piece on his own website, Keys was far from impressed with what he saw at Goodison Park.

“On the subject of United – how poor were this current lot at Everton? Awful is the answer,” he wrote.

“But how long have we been saying that in this blog? I’m pleased Everton got the points – but there really was nothing to beat. Absolutely nothing.”

Everton

Huge.

We don’t care about what anyone thinks about Manchester United, it was all about the mighty Toffees on Saturday afternoon.

Frank Lampard was brave in his team selection, picking the likes of Fabian Delph, and he was rewarded for that in the end.

Ralf Rangnick and the Red Devils were bullied throughout, with Vitalii Mykolenko epitomises everything that was good.

After that opening goal, Everton didn’t really look like losing and that is huge as we have been weak at times in recent months.

It is nice to see outrage at another club rather than our own for once this season after how crazy it has been.

Lampard is doing all he can, and even now we have that four-point buffer to that bottom three, we may still need another couple of big wins.
