View: Farhad Moshiri could bury Everton financially after major update in past 24 hours
Everton are financially skating on thin ice at this moment in time with another year of shocking accounts.
Farhad Moshiri has spent hundreds of millions on transfers in recent years, but still, the Toffees find themselves in relegation danger.
Financial Fair Play rules are a real issue too, with the Daily Mail reporting in March that a points deduction is a real possibility – which hasn’t been the case since.

Despite all of these concerns, it doesn’t look to have deterred Moshiri.
I News have reported in the past 24 hours that the owner is now ready to back Frank Lampard in the upcoming summer.
That is if he keeps Everton in the Premier League, but surely there has to be some thinking behind this.
With losses over £100million for yet another year, this potential points deduction won’t be far away if we don’t do something about it.

Sales.
This will only be somewhat possible if we finally get rid of all of this deadwood in the current squad which has haunted us for far too long.
Jonjoe Kenny, Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph, Cenk Tosun and Salomon Rondon are just five of the names that would free up huge wages.
What have any of those names done in recent years to justify the contracts they have been handed by the club? Nothing.
Get rid of them along with any big sales that may come from the likes of Richarlison potentially leaving, and reinvest that.
If Moshiri just throws money at it again with no thought, he is really running the risk of burying Everton financially.
