Everton predicted XI v Leicester City: Yerry Mina returns

Everton defender Yerry Mina is expected to return to the squad for the game against Leicester City on Wednesday.

Frank Lampard also confirmed that Donny van de Beek is also available after missing the last few games.

We’re expecting both the players to move straight into the team with the boss moving to a 4-2-3-1 system.

Speaking about the duo, Lampard said, “He was not well for a period, had a [thigh] injury pre-West Ham [while warming up]. A baby girl last week. It’s nice for him to be back in the squad.

“Yerry will feature; he’s in the squad. So, it’s just making sure he’s fit enough and analysing the games we’ve got left. We’ve got [another] in four days’ time; a huge game for us. So, there’s managing that because he’s been out a while.”

The two other players we see coming in are Demarai Gray and Abdoulaye Doucoure who came off the bench against Manchester United.

Should Mina start, it will be his first league one since two months when he was in the eleven against Newcastle.

Michael Keane has been woeful this season and even a 75 per cent fit Mina should be preferred over him.

While Richarlison did not do much wrong against Manchester United, we feel that Gray can cause much more problems to this Leicester backline with his pace and direct running ability.

The Brazilian can always come on as a second half substitute if things are not working for Lampard’s side.
