Frank Lampard bemused at Everton advantage suggestion after Sean Dyche sacking
Frank Lampard has said that the sacking of Sean Dyche does not affect Everton.
Last week, Burnley sacked their long-serving manager, Dyche, as the Clarets are fighting for survival.
With Everton also fighting for survival, there have been suggestions that the Toffees could benefit at the expense of Burnley’s situation.

Lampard said, as quoted by Lancs Live: “Sean Dyche I’m sure deserves a bit of a rest and will get a fantastic job because of the level of manager he’s shown himself to be and I wish Sean all the best going forward on that. In terms of what happens to Burnley in this period, nobody knows.
“You can probably go through history and find good reactions from changes and not so good reactions from changes, it doesn’t affect Everton. I read a quote this week to say we were let off the hook because of what happened, I don’t see how, this doesn’t change anything.”
Absolutely
Lampard is absolutely spot on here.
Every team are the bottom are fighting to get out of the relegation zone and they have to play incredibly well to do so.
Norwich City and Watford are looking more likely to get relegated but the danger is still not over for teams like Everton, Burnley and Leeds United.
A poor run from here on could see a huge change in position in the table.

It means, the Toffees can only control their own situation, that is get positive results from their games.
They will face Leicester City on Wednesday in the Premier League at Goodison Park, and the club must aim to pick up all three points.
Leicester are a well-drilled side under Brendan Rodgers but the Foxes are struggling this season.
The away form has been horrendous for the Toffees, and it’s the home form they have to rely on.
In other Everton news, a football finance expert has made a claim on the new Toffees stadium amid a major £300m development in the last week.
