Michael Owen shares honest verdict on Everton relegation chances
Michael Owen believes he would be optimistic if he was an Everton fan about their survival prospects this season.
He thinks that Leeds United have a tougher run in going into the final six games of the campaign.
They will be taking on Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea in their next three games.

Speaking on Premier League Productions after footage of the Merseyside derby and the remaining fixtures popped up, he said, “Everton need three wins out of those six. Maybe two wins, two draws and two defeats will be okay.
“I think they can do. Honestly, on that performance today [vs Liverpool], if I was an Everton fan, I’d be thinking, we’ve got hope here.
“Leeds could get dragged into it. They’ve got an awful [run in].”
Glimmer of hope
Everton once again have to rely on others to get the job done and this is not how successful clubs operate.
There have been significant failures at the boardroom level and that could cost the club their Premier League status.
Most Evertonians will bite your hands off if you offer them 17th place at the end of gameweek 38.

Few thought that this is how the season would transpire but unfortunately this is what ineptitude gets you.
Neither Rafa Benitez nor Frank Lampard were the right choices, to begin with and it has been proven over time.
Hopefully, something changes quickly as there needs to be some inspiration to turn things around.
In other Everton news, a football finance expert has made a claim on the new Toffees stadium amid a major £300m development in the last week.
