Everton ace Richarlison doubtful for Leicester City Premier League clash

Everton striker Richarlison is doubtful to feature in the Leicester City Premier League clash on Sunday (May 8).

According to Premier League injury expert Ben Dinnery, the Toffees ace has a 50-50 chance of featuring in their next game.

He’s got a lower leg injury and will be assessed ahead of the game with Frank Lampard expected to provide an update on his fitness.

The Brazilian has been in good form recently and has become virtually undroppable for Lampard.

He did omit Dominic Calvert-Lewin from the eleven, but Richarlison is now one of the first names on the team sheet.

In the last six Premier League games, the 24-year-old has managed to score four goals and provide a solitary assist.

He also scored a big winning goal against Chelsea last weekend that gave the Toffees a massive chance for Premier League survival.

Not having him available will be devastating for the club and he certainly will be working twice as hard to get fit for this one.

All eyes will now be on Lampard’s press conference and should Richarlison not be available, Calvert-Lewin is going to have some big shoes to fill in.

Everton are still two points behind Leeds United who are 17th – so every game is going to be treated like it’s a cup final.

In other Everton news, a football finance expert has made a claim on the new Toffees stadium amid a major £300m development in the last week.
