Paul Merson predicts result of Everton v Leicester, ‘massive’ pressure set for Leeds United
Paul Merson has backed Everton to pick up yet another huge win in the Premier League against Leicester on Sunday.
The Toffees will want to follow up that 1-0 victory over Chelsea, and have been predicted to win by the same scoreline at the King Power Stadium.
Merson has also predicted “massive” pressure to be put on the shoulders of Burnley and Leeds United in the relegation battle.

Writing in his latest column for Sportskeeda, Merson predicted big pressure for those around the Toffees.
“If Leicester lose to Roma in the UEFA Europa Conference League, they might think their season is finished and won’t have much to play for against Everton,” they wrote.
“If they win, they’ll be buzzing and will come out all guns blazing for the games ahead, so we’ll have to see how this one pans out.
“Everton need points to get themselves out of the drop zone and I think they will win this one 1-0.
“They could win and put massive pressure on the likes of Burnley and Leeds United, with the two sides very much involved in the relegation dog fight as things stand.”

Massive.
Confidence is sky-high around the club right now, and why wouldn’t it be after what has happened this week?
The win over Chelsea was huge, and potentially season-defining, but that is the level we need to be consistently hitting in our remaining five fixtures.
Nobody expected us to get anything from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea, so taking six points from nine really shut them up.
But, it means nothing if we don’t win the games against the likes of Leicester, Brentford, Watford and Crystal Palace.
You have to have the motivation as though you are still coming up against the best, and do everything you can to beat them.
If we do pick up three points against Leicester, Leeds especially will panic and that could see them crumble.
Let’s just concentrate on ourselves for now.
