Everton now contact representatives of Burnley star Maxwel Cornet for major new transfer
Everton have now made contact with the representatives of Burnley star Maxwel Cornet, according to 90min.
The online outlet have reported on their website that there is “huge” interest in the Ivory Coast international after the Clarets were relegated last season.
West Ham, Newcastle, Brighton, Wolves, Crystal Palace, Leicester and Fulham have all been in touch too so it looks like the battle will be crazy for his signature.

It is no surprise to see the interest rising.
Cornet set Turf Moor alight since arriving from Lyon and probably was the first player to genuinely do that in years given their style under Sean Dyche.
Now, he has earned the right to stay in the Premier League.
Those clubs queuing to bring him in won’t have to spend much either, with a relegation clause of around £17.5million said to have been activated.
A summer exit is now inevitable it is said, with clubs from Spain, Germany and Italy also to watch.

One to watch.
Frank Lampard had 24 hours to put his own spin on the squad after arriving at the end of January, and that didn’t help massively with deals forced.
Donny Van de Beek and Dele Alli didn’t exactly work, but now the gaffer will have time to put his own mould on the squad to hopefully avoid a repeat of what happened this time around.
Cornet would fit the mould perfectly of what is needed.
A skilful, hungry player available at a cheap price – something that is pivotal given the strict restrictions that are going to hang over our heads in the summer.
Should someone such as Richarlison leave, it would be for way over £50million, so throwing only £17.5million at a potential replacement would be a great piece of business.
It’s hard to imagine life without the Brazilian, but that is something we may have to get used to – let’s hope if it does happen that someone like Cornet can come in and help us forget.
In other Everton news, a football finance expert has made a claim on the new Toffees stadium amid a major £300m development in the recent weeks.
